Lior Fite, Founder and CEO, brings to Saguna over 20 years of experience in marketing, business development, sales and R&D management. Before co-founding Saguna Networks, Lior held the position of VP Marketing at Surf Communication Solutions, Optibase and Emblaze Semiconductor. He was the product marketing director at Vsoft LTD and prior to that managed the R&D department of MIND CTI. Lior's experience in the industry also includes leading large R&D teams at Dialogic and Telrad.
Danny Frydman is a founder at Saguna Networks and serves as the company's CTO & VP Customer Support. Danny has over 20 years of experience in defining and developing complex products in different fields, including telecom, cellular, multimedia processing, routing, medical and military. Previously, Danny held the position of VP R&D at Surf communications. Prior to that, he served as a Director of Technologies at Charlotte's Web Networks. His experience also includes cellular (Qualcomm Ltd.), medical (Elscint Ltd.) and military (Elbit Ltd.)
Danny Frydman holds a B.S.c in Electrical engineering, from the Technion, Israel Institute of Technology.
Barak Enat, VP R&D, managing software engineering and QA activities.
Prior to joining Saguna Networks, Barak was a group leader at Intel, managing software groups in the areas of design and manufacturing automation. Barak was also a co-founder and the director of software engineering at Charlotte's Web Networks where he led the development of a network operating system and routing protocols stack for the company router product.
Barak holds a BA in Electrical Engineering from the Technion (Suma Cum Lauda) and an MBA from Recanati School at Tel Aviv university.
With over 20 years of industry experience, Randy leads the sales and business development opportunities in North America. Randy’s previous experience includes similar global responsibilities at Alepo, and Nokia Siemens Networks. Prior to NSN, Randy was the World Wide Vice President of Sales & Business Development at Atrica, a Silicon Valley-based carrier Ethernet market leader, and led the private start-up to an eventual acquisition by Nokia Siemens Networks. Prior to Atrica,Randy held Sales leadership positions at Nortel Networks, Bay Networks and Racal Datacom.
Randy holds a BA degree in Marketing from Texas A&M University.
Dr. Niel Ransom brings over 35 years of experience and expertise in the telecommunications industry. Dr. Ransom is President and CEO of Ransomshire Associates, Inc., a consultancy he founded in 2005 providing corporate strategy development and private equity investments. He serves on the advisory boards of Riverwood Capital (U.S.) and Carmel Ventures (Israel) and the boards of directors of Radisys (NASDAX: RSYS), Cyan Inc. (NYSE: CTNI), MultiPhy, and Polatis. Dr. Ransom has held several executive-level roles at Alcatel and BellSouth including Worldwide CTO of Alcatel and member of its Executive Committee.
Dr. Ransom holds an MBA from the University of Chicago, a Ph.D. in electrical engineering from the University of Notre Dame, and BSEE and MSEE degrees from Old Dominion University.
Ori Choshen is the CEO of VLX Ventures and brings 14 years' experience in management, marketing, entrepreneurship and VC, specializing in the areas of Telecom, software & IT.
Before joining VLX Venture, Ori was VP Business Development at Xenia VC (TASE: XENA). Prior to that, he was the CEO & co-founder of Aniba, the first Iocal web-site in the event planning category. Before that, Ori was a Director of Business Development & managed the Eco-System Group at SanDisk (NSDQ: SNDK following the company's $1.6 billion acquisition of Msystems (NSDQ: FLSH) in 2006, where Ori was a Director of Business Development & Marketing. Prior to that, Ori managed the Terminal Equipment Department at the marketing division of Orange Israel. Ori led the team who established the 3G-handset domain in Orange and was a member in Hutchison's global handset group. Before Orange, Ori served 3 years as an Investment Manager in PFC, Orange's VC subsidiary.
Ori holds an LL.B degree (Law) and a B.A. degree in Philosophy (Cum Laude) from Tel Aviv University, and a Masters degree in Business Administration M.B.A. (Cum Laude) from the Solvay Business School in Brussels, Belgium.
Gil Biran has twenty-eight years of experience in the High Tech Telecommunications and Data Communications industry, primarily in executive management positions such as CEO, President, and VP.
Mr. Biran is Senior Vice President Corporate Development & Strategy of ADVA Optical Networking SE.
Prior to ADVA, Mr. Biran was the CEO of Biran High Tech Advisory Ltd based in R'aanana Israel.
Mr. Biran is the founder of Axerra Networks, Inc., "The Pseudo-Wire Company". For 9 years since 1999, Gil Biran has held major leadership roles within Axerra, including 7+ years as CEO and then as President.
Prior to Axerra, Mr. Biran served as VP R&D and acting CTO at RAD Data Communications.
Tzvika Friedman has life-long high-tech track record for growing businesses; from the initiation to worldwide leadership and hundreds of millions of dollars in revenues. He is known for his clear vision and strategic thinking, strong execution with exceptional perseverance, and an ability to lead companies in global markets.
Tzvika’s executive positions include: co-founder and driving force of the ECI Telecom Optical division (SDH), growing it from an idea to hundreds of millions of dollars in annual revenues; founding the VoIP division, president of the NGTS & DCME division; and president and CEO of Alvarion (NASDAQ ALVR). While at Alvarion, he led the company to become the market leader in WiMAX 4G infrastructure growing its WiMAX revenues from zero to over $200 million and market share leadership.
During his career, Tzvika gained broad experience in M&A and post-merger integration; setting up joint ventures and global M&S and R&D centers; and working in developed and developing markets. He is also an active investor and coach for companies in the area of on-line advertising, social recommendation, smart acquiring solutions, messaging, homeland security, home networking and Algo-Trading.

Mr. Rubner is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Rubner Technology Ventures Ltd., a venture capital firm, and is a general partner at Hyperion Israel Advisors Ltd., a venture capital fund. Prior to founding Rubner Technology Ventures, Mr. Rubner served as President and Chief Executive Officer of ECI Telecommunications Ltd., a provider of telecommunications networking infrastructure solutions from September 1991 to February 2000. Prior to his appointment as President and Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Rubner held various management positions at ECI Telecom. Mr. Rubner serves as a member of the boards of directors of Check Point Ltd., Elbit Imaging Ltd., Messaging International Ltd., Radware Ltd. and a number of private companies. Mr. Rubner is also a member of the Board of Trustees of Jerusalem College of Technology and Shaare Zedek Hospital. Mr. Rubner holds a B.S. in Engineering from Queen Mary College, University of London and an M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University, and he was a recipient of the Industry Prize in 1995.
Andy Jones has 23 years of experience in mobile telecommunications. He joined Vodafone as a graduate engineer in 1989 when the company was still only 400 people. At Vodafone, Andy progressed to lead many technology innovation, network transformation and infrastructure procurement programmes. From 2005-2009 he served as Executive Head of Strategy and Architecture at Group level with a responsibility covering 20 global Vodafone markets.
